Final post of 2009

I am not posting anything, 'til the dawn of 2010. I wanna wish Merry X-Mas to all of my friends, and especially to those who read my blog: Delany, Pike and Asami.
I only hope the new year will fix what is broken.
Delany, I wish you find a nice job, permanent with good money. You listened to me when I needed someone to speak to. Thanks.
Pike, I wish you manage to get all the items you want in WoW. You are one of my best friends, and always there when I need you. Thank you.
Asami, we had really a great time, talking about Titanic, Anime, and various other stuff. You gave me your advice and wisdom when I were in dire need. Thank you. I hope the new year will bring us close again... Wish you have the best time in Germany. Don't forget those who are left back... No matter when you decide to talk to me again, I want you to know you will always have me as a good friend, waiting to talk about everything that interests or troubles you... until that day, 'til all are one.
Have a good time, my friends, all of you. No matter what the new year will bring, I'm happy and honored to have been at your side and you at mine, physically or mentally.
Merry X-Mas!

The rest... is silence.

Blind man makes hole-in-one!

This is something extraordinary amazing, I accidentally read a few minutes ago.
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - A man who is legally blind has heard it before, so he was naturally skeptical when he was told he scored a hole-in-one while golfing at a local golf course. "They've said it before," said Joel Ludvicek, 78.
Only this time it was true.
Ludvicek aced the 168-yard No. 11 hole at Twin Pines golf course with a driver.
He had to rely on his three golfing partners to confirm the feat, because Ludvicek is legally blind.
"A big fluke, it's just one of those things," Ludvicek said.
He has been an avid golfer for years and this is his second hole-in-one. It's his first since he lost most of his vision because of macular degeneration.
He said his vision is hazy and he can't see things he's directly looking at.
Ludvicek, who tees up his own ball, said although the ace was special, it's no different from other golfers.
"It's funny how golf goes," he said. "Most of the time I have a heck of a time getting on the green. It's a fun game."

Fate and Final shopping.

The day after tomorrow is officially the first of my vacations! Today nothing special happened, except from the fact that the road was closed and I had to walk a couple of miles, after hospital.
I got kinda angry with the teacher, since she is from those who believe that we'll die when it's written, and I'm from those who believe there's no fate, apart from the one we form for ourselves.
Anyway, after hospital I went to buy some stuff, for Pike's and Mime's Xmas presents, and as soon as Asami's present is delivered, my mission will be complete.
Damn, I really need some sleep...
A quick edit: I've just been informed that my good friend, Delany, is jobless, because her company's hit bankrupty... Dark times.

Monuments and Failure.

I woke up early, yet again. I was to meet with Pike, and go grab the rest of the books. But on my way to his place, I realized that each time I was taking that road, the Byzantine-Roman monuments were right next to me. The "Forum" of the Roman ages, probably. I have never stopped to take a good look at them, 'til today. They are magnificent! Reminds of an age undreamed of, when noblemen were walking here and there, knights were training on a corner, and archers trying to get better, testing their skills at the archery range. Once again I'd wish I were born on the 15th century... not to say even earlier. Back then people knew how it is to live by the sword, by chivalry... and honor. In my mind I compared the "good old times" with nowadays. The only thing you see, is people walking here and there, like mindless zombies... Not speaking, not watching their own step. And then you realize... you are becoming one of them. Don't take me wrong, the city is much better than the village I grew up, full of peasants, with only a handful of people that really matter. The city is great, a really nice improvement to my life. But... it's taking its toll. Slowly, but surely, it can turn you into something you wouldn't like to be. it tests your patience... and other virtues as well.
Anyway, after finally taking our books, Pike suggested we'd go have a quick meal at "Goody's". There I saw that girl. She probably wasn't the most beautiful girl in there, but she had such a kind smile, and smart beautiful brown eyes... We were looking at each other for more than 20'. But when we stood up at the same time, to go pick some glasses of water, I felt all of my self-confidence hit  bottom, I was totally speechless. After that, she decided to leave with her friend, and disappointment was clearly drawn on her sweet pretty face. I guess... that Xmas affect me really bad. It was Xmas, after all, the last time I spoke to my old love... I don't know... I just don't feel like myself these days. Usually I would ask Asami for some advice, but she has her own problems and plans to attend to.
I just feel too bored, all I want now is my vacations to start, and meet with my good friends again. (Hopefully, I'll have the chance to see all 4 of them...)
Right now... I'm just too angry for letting that girl walk away, just like that. She might have been a great companion...
And yet she might just have been a stupid flirt... I will never know, since she now's already walked away...
Oh well, so be it.

Books and Poker.

Today I woke up early, to go check my college for info about where to get my books for the semester. It appeared that Pike had to pick up some books as well, so we met and searched almost whole Salonika's down-town to get them. It has also been raining for about 20', nothing to worry about. On my way to Pike I met Lakis, so we decided to meet earlier all together.
After getting the books, Pike and I went to Pike's place, ate crepes and watched a documentary about the Siege of Malta by the Turks, and more funny stuff on the TV.
After we went for a cup of chocolate with Lakis, and we taught Pike how to play Poker. For a first-timer he did it extremely good, beating both Lakis and me! Now that's big!
Tomorrow we are going to get the rest of the books (hopefully) and have some more fun.
Damn, I realize that life's better when you don't spend the whole time indoors. Well I was going outside, for college purposes, but most of my free time was spent on my PC, playing RPGs. It's good to hang with friends.

My dog

After talking a lot with Delany about pets, I remembered my own pet, Lucky. He was my Husky.
Lucky was given to me when I was 10 years old. and he "left" when I was 18. A car killed him...
We practically grew together, he and I. We spent our childhood together, and our "teens" together...
I remembered some of the things we were doing... I remembered I was having him chase the girls of the village, but trained him never to bite, just scare them away. The peasants were mad about me, scaring their girls, but... who cares? Not me, anyway. xD
I remember when it was summer and he was getting too hot, I was "watering" him with the hose, and he was trying to bite the water, enraged! He couldn't bite it, of course, and that was making him angrier! Each time I was putting the hose down, it was his turn to make me all wet, by shaking his body and his tail, trying to get rid of the extra water! :D
I also remember that he was lying at my side when I was watering our trees, and I was getting bored, waiting for a tree to get enough water, so that I could move on... really boring.
I remember that I argued with grandpa about his name, he wanted to name him "Leon", the greek for "lion". I chose "Lucky", one of the few dog names I knew.
I remember he was howling like a wolf, when he wanted me to remove his chain.
I remember that he was all over, licking me, each time I pretended to be dead, down on the grass...
One day while I was fast asleep, my sister woke me up to tell me that he was hit by a car...
The night before I remember giving him food and changing his water... then... silence.
If I ever find out who killed him... he will feel my wrath!
The place where I come from is fool of peasants, killing poor dogs, just for fun. (And people say I'm the one with complex... :) ).
God gave dog to human, cause human has the need to have god close to him... (GOD-DOG, makes some sense)
I don't easily love someone, only a few can have that "privilege", but I surely did love my dog.
There is only a picture of him, and I'll post it somewhere, when I find it... for those who care, anyway.
I  think I will never get me another dog... ever!
Usually I post pictures to all of my posts, but no other dog will get the place of my Lucky!
I'll never forget you, old friend! NEVER! And to all of you who have dogs, please, treat them with love. Dogs can feel your emotions!
Goodbye... friend. I hope you are in a better place... 'til all are one.

New Transformers game announced!

As the title says. The new game appears to be concentrated on the war between the Autobots and the Decepticons on Cybertron, before discovering Earth. The models are similar to the classic ones, (finally!), and we can also see a classic character on the trailer, the giant Omega Supreme!
I just can't wait. For both this and the new Batman game.
I've been a huge Transformers fan since I remember my very existence, so this is really big to me.
Rumors also confirm that Peter Cullen will be the voice of Optimus Prime on this game as well. That's perfect! I couldn't imagine anyone other being Optimus...
For now, there is just a small teaser-trailer, but it's very promising.

Nexus † R.I.P.

A good friend's pet rat died a few hours ago. I don't really know how it is to lose a pet , it's been a looong time since I had pets, (with the exception of a bat sleeping at my balcony, where the light bulb is supposed to be), but I think it feels pretty bad. His owner loved him a lot, and spent many sad and happy moments together. She was even allergic to rats, yet she loved him really very much!
This is a small tribute, the least I could do. Nexus will be remembered. 'Til all are one.

New Batman game announced!

After the magnificent success of Batman: Arkham Asylum game, a second game is coming through, and a trailer is already available.
For me Batman: Arkham Asylum is the best game of the year 2009, and I'll be extremely happy to get a chance to buy me a sequel.

Shopping, Mayhem and Scooby!

Yesterday I woke up kinda early, for my standards, at 1150 o' clock. Realizing it's the day for me to get payed, I rushed to get the money, and then went to buy me a T-Shirt. Suddenly I fell into a dilemma! There were two shirts I really wanted to have, yet I couldn't afford both of them. I was standing there for more than 10mins, before finally making a decision.
After that, I payed a visit to Pike. We watched TV, played WoW and ate together (my treat).
I also played Smack Down. In a 1vs1 match against the best character, in the Legendary difficulty, with my own custom character, Vegeta. It was an intense fight, and you couldn't tell who was winning, but in the end I made it! xD
After that we watched Scooby Doo and then I departed for home, to have a shower and relax.
Vector Sigma, I love Saturday!
Oh and I love the classic Batman's music theme. It's dark, sad, mysterious and scary at the same time. Just like Batman!

Last journal entry.

I really messed up big time...
It finally came to surface that it wasn't a big deal at all. My stupidity, though, turned it into a DRAMA, and that's what made things worse. I realize I was too ignorant, too fool. I was overprotective, like she was my own daughter. I made a mistake and turned her away from me.
I understand that she now wants to keep her distance, and I will not blame her. After all, it was my fault and I accept the consequences of my actions.
I can only hope it's not forever, because I still consider her as a friend.
I am not good at making friends. I'm not a communicative person, anyway. So there only are 4 persons in the whole world that are my friends with the whole meaning of this word. Mime, Pike, Mois and Asami.
I don't have many friends, and of course I can't afford losing any of them. That would literally tear me apart.
I remember, kinda, how it is to be torn apart... Only that now it will be even worse. I don't care about girlfriends... but losing a true friend is the worst thing ever. I'd rather lose my good eye, than lose a friend. Why? Because I got two eyes, similar to each other, so I don't really care. But every single one of my best friends is special and most valued to me. Everyone is remarkable, with his/her own unique way. Of course I'm not literally afraid of the dark, but of the darkness that will devour the emptiness I'll feel if  the worst happens and I lose a friend...
For now, I will let her keep her distance without bothering her, and decide whether I'm worthy as a friend or not.

Silence

I've been sitting on my PC for hours... waiting for response.
It appears that my "Black Friday" is confirmed, and I'm still not forgiven. It appears that I will not find the redemption I seek... I really wish I wasn't that stupid... How could I ever do such great mistake, setting a great friendship in danger? None, except me, can tell how much I regret about it. The silence is just... painful. Far more painful that the words my friend could tell me. I only want us to be friends... My punishment, my torment goes on and on... And I clearly don't even understand why... I admit I was a jerk with all those stupid tags and comments... But is that enough to break a strong friendship? Why do I have to go through all this agony? I only ask for a chance... even criminals have a second chance in life...

Black Friday (?)

Once again I stood up early in the morning. Sent a "goodmorning" message to my friend, Asami. I only hope she's alright, and has forgiven me about yesterday. Once again I feel like apologizing, since I caused such inconvenience.
I just want her to be one of my best friends again. Nothing more, I never asked -and never will- for more. And of course nothing less.
I only hope she will feel like talking to me today, about the matter.
We had such great time, and learned many secrets of each other.
I only want to restore this friendship, this communication, this trust... But I can't do it all alone.
Right now, I only have to say one thing:

Thursday, December 10, 2009

None is perfect.

People make mistakes, it's natural. Today I think I've done a really bad mistake, a bad joke, to be honest, which just overcame all the other bad jokes I've done before. I only want to apologize to my friend. A friend who has so many things on her mind, yet I manage to poke her with my stupidity. Now I only hope she can forgive me. Forgive and forget, for that's the true meaning of friendship. Friends in happy moments, and in bad moments.
Asami... forgive me.

Bad luck and surprises.

6:30 Waking up and sending a "goodmorning" message to Asami, the only one of my friends who wakes as early as I do.
7:30 Heavy rainfall, and I left home without taking an umbrella... tough luck indeed. And not only that, the bus was late...
8:30 Arrival at hospital. The day couldn't be worse... new teammates, some silly barbie-girls, who think they know everything... While the teacher was trying to explain them a few things, my mind was flying outside the window. For some reason I was too bored to learn anything.
Weather wasn't helping at all, the city seemed just like a shadow of its normal shelf. Seemed like a tomb...
12:05 I left hospital later than usual, cause the teacher had to explain more stuff to my classmates. anyway, I soon realized the roads were shut, and there were no busses. Had to walk a couple of miles 'til I reach the station and take the bus home.
The day seemed to be getting worse and worse, when suddenly a surprise came up. The very best thing, and yet one of the rarest, happened to me and I feel like the happiest man in the world! I can't talk about it, but I think that you, Asami, maybe suspect what it is, we have spoken about it on the past days. :)
Now I feel totally awesome!

P.S. I'm sorry, but I'll tell to none about what has happened. It's not secret, though. Just a BIG surprise! :)

Bat species - Antrozous

I really feel empty this cold morning, so I will just write about the next bat species, devoted on those who love listening to OSTs
Sometimes I wonder if everyone reads all this...
Anyway... Our next species is "Antrozous".
The Pallid Bat (Antrozous pallidus) is a species of bat in the vesper bat family which ranges from western Canada to central Mexico. Pallid bats have larger eyes than most other species of bats in North America and have pale, long, and wide ears; their fur is generally lightly colored. They have on average a total length of 92 to 135mm.
Pallid Bats are insectivores so they feed on insects such as crickets and scorpions, and are capable of consuming up to half their weight in insects every night. Although they normally catch their prey on the ground; they usually transport their prey to their night roost to eat it.
heir large ears allow them to hear the footsteps of insects on the ground and they use their voices to make ultrasonic sounds that bounce back to their ears. The reflected sound waves let them sense flying insects and know the environment they are flying through.
Pallid bats are a unique type of bat because they are heterothermic, which means that, depending on the time of year, they can be either poikilothermic or homoeothermic. They have the ability to control their body temperature and equilibrate it with the environment during winter hibernation and whenever they rest.
They primarily sleep in rock crevices and buildings. Pallid bats are skilled at climbing and crawling.

Final Atonement

Vegeta is the Royal High Prince of all Saiyans. It didn't take long for me to realize his personality is pretty much similar to mine, so he became my favorite character of the Dragon-Ball Z series.
He was the perfect warrior, cold and ruthless. He lived by his strength alone, uninhibited by foolish emotions.
One day he woke up, only to realize he's gotten soft, and feelings started running through him. It's what the others call "love". He knows it's wrong, and perhaps even regrets about it. But finally his emotions took place.
For the first time, Vegeta is fighting for someone other than himself... Controlling his own fate!
Now the moment draws near. The moment to play against the odds, and fight -even die- for his loved one...

Trunks, Bulma. I do this for you. And yes! Even for you, Kakarot!

Autobot Jazz - A Great Hero.

This is a tribute to my favorite Autobot, as shown on Michael Bay's movie: Transformers.

Jazz is the smallest of the Autobots.
He stands 15 feet 7 inches tall, weighs 1.8 tons and has a maximum speed of 400 miles per hour.

Despite his small stature, Jazz was fearless, and would not hesitate to attack a much larger foe. Ultimately, Jazz was killed near the end of the movie. After Megatron's arrival at Mission City, Jazz realises that, even with Ironhide and Ratchet, they are no match. To buy some time, he orders the retreat of the his comrades and engages Megatron single-handedly. Jazz was carried to the top of a nearby skyscraper and crushed by the full weight of Megatron. Defiant to the end, Jazz continued to antagonize and attack, before he was brutally ripped in half, killing him instantly.
He valiantly gave his life, to save innocent human beings and his fellow Autobots. He lived a warrior, and died a hero.

Bat species - Macrotus

Time to mention a few things about our next bat species. Always in devotion to "Batman Begins OST" and those who love bats. Or just love me, who love bats. :P
The California Leaf-nosed Bat (Macrotus californicus) is a species of bat in the Phyllostomidae family. It is found in Mexico and the United States. Its natural habitat is hot deserts. It is threatened by habitat loss.
California leaf-nosed bats can be found in Sonoran and Mojave Desert scrub habitats in the Colorado River valley in southern California, Nevada and Arizona, and throughout western Mexico. It is non-migratory and does not hibernate.
The California leaf-nosed bat weighs between 12 and 20 grams, has a wingspan of over 30 centimeters and a body length of over 6 centimeters, and is brown in color. As its name implies, it has a triangular fleshy growth of skin, called a noseleaf, protruding above the nose. This bat is the only bat of the Phyllostomidae family in the United States to have large ears, usually over 2.5 centimeters. It is also one of the most maneuverable in flight. With short, broad wings, it can fly at low speeds using minimal energy. Because of this adaptation, it is not suited for long-distance travel, and is non-migratory.
This bat has an unusual reproductive pattern. After breeding occurs in the fall, the embryos develop very slowly until March, when growth continues at a more normal rate before birth in May or June. Twins are common.
This bat is a "gleaning" insectivore which captures prey such as crickets, grasshoppers, beetles, and sphinx moths straight from the ground or foliage rather than in flight. It prefers to use its large eyes to detect prey, although in total darkness it will switch to echolocation. It typically hunts within a few feet of the ground using its superior eyesight to search for insects. It does not alight to capture its prey, but hovers above it and snags it off the substrate. It then carries its prey to an open roost such as a porch or open building to dismember, then consume it.

Bat species - Tadarida

Time has come to mention a few things about our next Bat species, devoted on "Batman Begins" OST, Tadarida.
The Mexican Free-tailed Bat (Tadarida brasiliensis) is a medium sized bat. Their bodies are about 9 cm in length, and they weigh about 12.30g Their ears are wide and set apart to help them find prey with echolocation. The fur color varies from dark brown to gray.
The Mexican Free-tailed Bat is widely regarded as one of the most abundant mammals in North America and is not on any federal lists. However, its proclivity towards roosting in large numbers in relatively few roosts makes it especially vulnerable to human disturbance and habitat destruction. Documented declines at some roosts are cause for concern. It is considered a Species of Special Concern due to declining populations and limited distribution in Utah. While being one of the most numerous mammals in North America, the whereabouts and status of winter populations of these animals is still largely unknown.[1]
The species is very important for the control of pest-insect populations. But its populations are in an alarming decline because of the pesticide poisoning and the destruction of their roosting caves. A population decline in Eagle Creek Cave was documented from over 25 million in 1963 to just 30,000 six years later, and the famous Carlsbad Caverns population, estimated to contain 8.7 million in 1936, had fallen as low as 218,000 by 1973. In addition, the bats lose roosting habitat as old buildings are destroyed. Human disturbance and vandalism of key roosting sites in caves are likely the single most serious causes of decline. Grossly exaggerated media stories about rabies have led to the intentional destruction of large colonies.

Bat species - Artibeus

Our fifth species is called Artibeus.
The Neotropical fruit bats (Artibeus) are a genus of bats within the subfamily Stenodermatinae.[1] The genus consists of 19 species, which are native to Central and South America.
These bats grow to an average length of 5 to 10 cm, and a weight of 10 to 85 g. The fur is colored brown or gray on the top; the bottom side is brighter. In a few species, the faces have four light-colored stripes. The patagium, the skin between the legs, is very small, and they lack a tail – a general characteristic of the fruit bats. The ears are acuminated and like many other leaf-nosed bats the nose bears a small, sharp leaf which is used for echo sounding.
Like most bats, Neotropical fruit bats are nocturnal. They sleep in caves, houses, or other hideouts. Some species use large leaves to form "tents", which provide shelter from the weather and hide them from predators. Most species live in large groups. Artibeus jamaicensis – the best studied species – forms groups, consisting of one to three males, three to 14 females, and the shared offspring.
The diet of these bats mainly consists of fruit, but they eat pollen and insects too.

Bat species - Barbastella

Our next species is called Barbastella.
The Barbastelle (Barbastella barbastellus), also known as the Western Barbastelle, is a European bat. It has a short nose, small eyes and wide ears.
It is rare throughout its range. In Britain, only a few breeding roosts are known; Paston Great Barn in Norfolk, parts of Exmoor and the Quantock Hills in Devon and Somerset ( see Tarr Steps), the Mottisfont woodland in Hampshire and Ebernoe Common in West Sussex. The UK distribution can be found on the National Biodiversity Network website here.[1] In Norway, it was considered extinct, having only been sighted in 1896, 1911, 1913 and 1949. However, it was again found in 2004 and 2008.[2]
They roost in splits or behind loose bark of trees all year, normally in ancient or old growth deciduous woods that have a substantial Understorey. Damaged or dead trees are the ideal habitat. They move between the roosts with great frequency. They are protected under the European Habitats Directive. In the UK their rarity means that Woodlands containing the species may be considered for notification as a Site of Special Scientific Interest and may attract a grant under Natural Englands Environmental Stewardship scheme.

Bat species - Myotis

The third bat species of "Batman Begins OST" is Myotis.
Bechstein's Bat (Myotis bechsteinii) will both roost and forage in suitable woodland of at least 25 hectares in size and only rarely venture outside of them.
In the United Kingdom Bechstein's Bats are most commonly found in the Forest of Dean and Herefordshire, however a single male was caught and recorded near Colby in Southern Pembrokeshire. The UK distribution has been plotted on the National Biodiversity Network website and can be found here.
They frequently roost in old Woodpecker holes, oak and Ash seeming to be the most important to the species.
They are protected under the European Habitats Directive. In the UK their rarity means that Woodlands containing the species may be considered for notification as a Site of Special Scientific Interest and may attract a grant under Natural Englands Environmental Stewardship scheme.

Bat species - Eptesicus

The time has come for me to post my tribute about the second bat species, mentioned on Batman Begins OST.
The Big Brown Bat (Eptesicus fuscus) is larger in size than comparative species of bats, from about 4 to 5 inches (10 – 13 cm) in body length, with a 11-13 inch wingspan and weighing 1/2 to 5/8 ounce. The fur is moderately long, and shiny brown. The wing membranes, ears, feet, and face are dark brown to blackish in color.
Big brown bats are nocturnal, roosting during the day in hollow trees, beneath loose tree bark, in the crevices of rocks or in man-made structures such as attics, barns, old buildings, eaves and window shutters. Big brown bats navigate through the night skies by use of echolocation, producing ultrasonic sounds through the mouth or nose. Together with the hoary bat (Lasurius cinereus), Big brown bats are the only vespertilionids to produce audible sound during flight. Its voice is a click or a sound like escaping steam.
Big brown bats are insectivorous, eating many kinds of night-flying insects including mosquitoes, moths, beetles, and wasps which they capture in flight. This causes the sudden, frequent changes in direction.

Bat species - Vespertilio

I am making a tribute about the Bat species who gave their names on the "Batman Begins" Original soundtrack.
The first species is Vespertilio.
The Parti-coloured Bat or Rearmouse (Vespertilio murinus) is a species of bats in the family of Vesper bats. It is a medium sized bat.
hese bats hunt for their prey, for example mosquitoes, caddis flies, and moths, with ultrasonic sound of around 25-27 kHz. They hunt after twilight at heights of above 10 to 20 meters, for example in open landscape over streams and lakes and above forests or at street lights. In cold weather the bat may remain in its resting place.
There is not much known about the behaviour of parti-coloured bats, as they are quite rare. Female bats live in small groups, of about 50 animals, sometimes up to several hundred adult females. In Western Europe, male groups consist of about 250 animals and are found only during the spring and early summer. These bats migrate, and flights of up to 900 km were found. The furthest migration was determined at 1440 km in the year 1989.
Between October and March, the bats hibernate. They hibernate alone, and can bear temperatures down to -2.6 degrees Celsius.

Ghosts from the Past

I thought I had totally forgotten her. It was like she never existed. But that was only 'til I accidentally found a picture of her. Then, for a reason I can't quite understand, I felt like watching a video about Squall and Rinoa. It had nothing to do with her, I wasn't even thinking of her, it was just me and the video. The video was a tribute to Squall and Rinoa, nothing special. The music on the background was the song "Eyes on Me". I used to listen to that song with her, while we were sitting together on her balcony, watching the summer sky, eating ice-cream. Now I kinda find it boring.
Anyway, I was laying back, relaxed, while watcing. Then it happened. Rinoa hugged Squall so tight, that I closed my mouth with my hand and before even realising it, two tears were moving across my cheeks and over my hand... I haven't shed tears for more than a year... And it had nothing to do with her, I wasn't even thinking of her while watching. What's wrong with me?
Well, right now I feel great, just like before seeing that picture of her. She is just a memory now to me, a ghost who might try to haunt me again. But next time, I will be prepared. For how can I fear ghosts, when I am the night?

Homecoming.

Today I realize that home is not where you live, but where you think you belong. Where you feel happy, and don't feel like a stranger. Arriving in the big city again is exciting, but it's not homecoming. Homecoming is playing Serious Sam 2 with the Squad. Homecoming is having fun eating chocolate and drinking with your pals. Homecoming is a warm hug from a great friend...

Archery Range

This week I started training with a bow. It's easier than I expected. I love it when I let myself be one with the bow and the arrow. I fly towards my target alongside my arrow, we are one. It's a marvelous experience, I would suggest to all of my friends.

Digging out the Past

Today I had a look in my closet, to pick a nice black T-Shirt, and I got startled when I found out the memorial one, I got the last days at High School. Brings good memories in mind. All of the Squad have been at the same school, though not at the same class. Legolas is my favorite LOTR character, and I've filled the school surfaces with his name. The Undertaker is one of my favorite Smack Down Superstars, a game we used to play in the Extreme Games Net-Cafe. Good times...
In other news, I was too bored to attend class today, considering the fact I'm waking up at 600 tomorrow. And the day after tomorrow as well. Boring as hell. But a man gotta do... what a man gotta do. I also gotta take a "special" picture, for a "special" friend. (The word "special" doesn't mean "retarted" on this sentense).

Boring day

I had to wake up early, to attend English class. It was boring as hell. I knew almost all of those "new" words. My classmates are either stupid who pretend to be smart, or stupid who pretend nothing. I also had a chance to use my "special" pen for the first time in public. I'm grateful to my friend who gave it to me, and proud I had a chance to carry it with me. Some classmates made certain comments, but I just don't give a shit. It's lovely, really. Oh, I also taught Pike how to play Batman: Arkham Asylum, I didn't expect he'd like it so much, to be honest. (Harley Quinn is who impressed him more, lol) :)

Weekend

I've spent most of the time talking with my best friends, and playing Lord of the Rings: Online, with one of them. I am just happy I have found a second family, because fighting the crime, makes you feel lonely, somettimes. I love loneliness, yes, but not all the time. Life is boring when you don't have a squad to share it with.

Last Week

The last 7 days were great! At last I had a chance too meet a new friend I made on-line, and also had the chance to introduce her to the rest of the Squad. I am happy to announce we have a new member on board!
